Sam from Sydney Australia sent me this easy spinach dragon fruit juice recipe for publishing. Dragon fruit, also called pitaya, pitahaya, or a strawberry pear, is a rare fruit that is part of the cactus species. There are quite a few different sub species depending on the geographic location where they are grown, in which case the fruit's color and flavor can slightly vary. They are a nutrient dense fruit, and particularly contain tons of vitamin C. To begin the juice extraction process, go ahead and set up your juice machine. Next thoroughly wash your produce with cold water. Moving right along, next cut off the dragon fruit's thick skin, as it can be bitter to the taste. You are ready to start juicing, so turn on your machine, and run the spinach and skinless dragon fruit through it. Aim for approximately a half liter or more of this divine juice. Once you have completed the juice extraction process, stir the liquids together very thoroughly so that your juice's flavor is uniform and smooth. You'll notice right away that the dragon fruit's juice is very creamy and delicious. Please make sure to try this recipe out at least one time, otherwise you are really missing out on an off the charts all natural beverage flavor.
